Dr. Henry Drummond Smith
served in World War II as a Captain in the Canadian Army Medical Corps. from 1942 to 1945. He was active in Sicily and Italy before returning to England prior to the D-Day landings. He then served in France and Holland before returning home to Canada.
Dr. Drummond and his brother Erwin joined their father, Dr. Walter Smith, in medical pratice. They established the Smith Clinic in Hawkesbury, with offices in their former home on Main Street.
