Frederick Mann

  • 18 years old, British male
  • He was 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 135 pounds
  • Accused of the murder of four people and of injury to three others, one of which later succumbed to his injuries
  • The victims were members of the Cooke family from Chute-à-Blondeau, Ontario (formerly known as Little Rideau)
  • Hanged October 12th 1883, around 8A.M., in the L’Orignal Old Jail’s courtyard

Narcisse Larocque

  • 23 year old, French-Canadian male
  • Accused of rape and murder of two young girls
  • The victims were the McGonigle sisters from Cumberland, Ontario
  • Hanged June 4th 1891, around 8A.M., in the L’Orignal Old Jail’s courtyard

Clément Goyette

  • Around 36 years old, French-Canadian male from Montréal (Québec)
  • Accused of the murder of two people and of serious injury to another
  • The victims were the Colligan family from Alfred, Ontario
  • Hanged April 28th 1904, around 8A.M., in the L’Orignal Old Jail’s courtyard

  • 57 year old Larocque (and 51 year old Lavictoire), French-Canadian men from Cumberland, Ontario
  • Accused of fraud and murder
  • The victim was Léo Bergeron from Cumberland (Ontario), approximatly 25 years old
  • Hanged March 15th 1933 at 1:30A.M.
