Convent of Notre-Dame-des-Anges
Description

This residence was built in 1876 for John and Annie Fraser. From 1902 to 1913, lawyer William S. Hall lived there with his wife. In 1913, the house was sold to the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa, allowing the nuns to teach at Village Public School No. 1 on Court Street.

Known as the Notre-Dame-des-Anges Convent, the exterior of this former residence has changed very little. The interior, however, was considerably altered to accommodate the lives of around twenty nuns.

Since 2011, it has offered a range of community services.
