Our village
Located on the Ottawa River east of Ottawa, L'Orignal has a rich heritage rooted in the distant past of New France and Upper Canada. L'Orignal offers its residents a quality lifestyle, quiet streets, and affordable family housing, whether in the village or rural areas. Canada Day celebrations featuring fireworks, music, and community activities, organized by the township of Champlain and the L’Orignal Firefighters Association.

La Baie Run – 8th annual
Community run with 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km distances. Most proceeds go to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, with a portion going to Les Roadrunners Athletics Club.
