Aimé Landriault House

This house was home to five generations of Landriaults.
Louis-Antoine (1) left Rigaud, in the county of Vaudreuil, to settle on the Bay Road in L'Orignal in 1817. He bequeathed the farm to his 4th son Camille (2), who in turn, passed it down to his son Pierre (3). On July 12, 1940, the latter sold the property to his son Aimé (4).
Following Aimé Landriault's death on May 1, 1968, the farm was sold except for the land surrounding the house where his wife Simone and the children (5) continued to live.
Even though the ancestral home was sold in 1998, Landriault descendants are still well represented in the area.
