Eudore Landriault House
Description
This country home, set back from the road on the banks of the Ottawa River, is more than 100 years old. Pierre Landriault, of the long line of Landriaults established in L'Orignal since 1821, bought this farm and buildings in 1929 for his son Eudore and his new wife, Clara Parisien.
After Eudore's death, his daughter Suzanne took possession of the house along with her family. Part of the farmland was sold to Paul St-André, a local farmer, while the rest was divided into lots for Eudore's other children who wished to build homes there.
