8. Châtelain house
Built in 1908 for Alexandre Châtelain, a respected insurance broker and businessman, this red brick house with a turret was designed to reflect the style of large English residences.
In 1940, it became the property of Alexandre’s daughter, Gabrielle, and her husband, Eusèbe Daigneault.
A solarium was added around 1960. The current owners proudly preserve the look of the past.
