L'Orignal is a hub for solo, family, and group cycling enthusiasts. Every year, many cyclists take to the roads of L'Orignal to enjoy the scenery of the Lower Laurentians and the Ottawa River.
You can use paved roads with little traffic from various meeting points, which will take you through beautiful landscapes and thriving farms. These roads can bring you to other villages such as Alfred, Vankleek Hill, Hawkesbury, or even Lefaivre, where a ferry will take you to the Route Verte on the Quebec side.
It is also possible to access the Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail: a 72 km bike path on stone dust built on an old railroad line.
